Endodontics, or root canal treatment
Endodontics, or root canal treatment, is nothing but one of the methods of dental treatment carried out in the case of pulp infection, which unfortunately arises with untreated caries.
Certainly, each of you has heard how terrible and painful root canal treatment was, how your colleague, friend or person from your immediate environment suffered from this type of treatment. It used to be this way, it was a very painful and expensive treatment, but the progress in dentistry is so dynamic that nowadays all endodontic treatments are completely painless and performed under local anesthesia. Hundreds of our patients have become convinced that endodontics is a painless procedure. Everyone who already knows our team, knows that only outstanding specialists perform treatments in our offices, and thus consciously ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible.

Treatments are carried out using the latest microscope and the best materials available on the market.
Indications for endodontic treatment
There are many indications for endodontic treatment, but it is worth paying special attention to:
- deep caries,
- necrosis or gangrene of the pulp,
- mechanical injuries of the tooth, such as dislocations or fractures,
- planned prosthetic treatment,
- periapical inflammation,
- previous endodontic treatment incorrectly performed.
It should also be remembered that before proceeding with endodontic treatment, the doctor must know about possible systemic diseases. Particular attention should be paid to heart, kidney, liver and endocrine disorders.
Endodontic treatment during one visit?
Not long ago, endodontic treatment necessitated several visits to a specialist. Nowadays, thanks to modern anesthetics, most endodontic treatments are carried out during one visit. Modern techniques allow effective treatment of very complicated cases. Thanks to this, patients can quickly save their sick teeth.
